A happy new year!! How was your winter vacation?
My winter vaction was very fantastic!!
I went to Akita with my family!! My cousins live in Akita, so we went to there.
I ate "Kiritanpo". It is very delicious!! I recomend you to eat it!!
Akita is very cold everyday, but there has no snow.
I felt very sad. But my first trip in Akita was very good trip.

I MISS AKITA!!! IJulie (my wife) and I lived in Akita-shi and Noshiro-shi for one year (1995-1996). I LOVE KIRITAMPO - I haven't had any for more than 2 years! I'm glad you got to go there for vacation and have one of my favorite Japanese soups!
